Terms of Service 

1. General Information

• I, Zoe Michel (a.k.a. Zoe Juno), reserve the right to refuse or cancel any commission request for any reason.

• I will only create artwork in my own art style. Requests to replicate another artist’s style will be declined.

2. Payment

• All payments are accepted in USD via PayPal only.

• A 50% deposit is required prior to starting the commission and the other 50% is due after completion but prior to shipping.

• Do not send payment before I have confirmed your order and provided an estimated timeline. An invoice will be sent through PayPal once your commission is approved.

• If PayPal fees apply, they will be included in the final quote.

3. Process & Delivery

• The time required to complete a commission varies between 2 weeks – 2 months, depending on factors such as health, workload, complexity, and unforeseen circumstances.

• I will provide progress updates via email or social media messenger every few days.

• Shipping and handling fees are included in the final quote unless otherwise stated.

• If international shipping is required, additional fees may apply. Tracking will be provided where available.

4. Revisions

• Revisions can only be made during the drafting phase.

• The final draft is an outline that establishes the composition and layout of the piece. Once you approve this draft, I will proceed with finalizing the artwork.

• No further changes can be made after the final draft is approved.

• Minor color adjustments may be requested but are not guaranteed.

5. Copyright & Usage

Artist’s Rights (Zoe Michel / Zoe Juno):

• I retain full copyright over the commissioned artwork.

• I reserve the right to cancel and refund a commission at any time.

• I will not profit further from the commissioned artwork unless the customer violates these terms.

• I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork in my portfolio, social media, or promotional materials unless a confidentiality agreement is requested before payment.

Client’s Rights (You, the Customer):

You may:

• Use the commissioned artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., profile pictures, personal prints, social media).

• Upload the artwork to websites and social media with credit to me as the artist (e.g., “Artwork by @zoejunoart”)

You may NOT:

• Profit from the artwork (e.g., reselling, redistributing, using it for merchandise, prints, or POD services).

• Alter the commissioned artwork without my written consent.

• Claim the artwork as your own.

Commercial Use:

• If you wish to use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes (e.g., selling prints, merchandise, branding), you must purchase a commercial license for an additional fee. Pricing depends on the intended use.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Before Work Begins: 

• You may request a full refund of your deposit if I have not started the commission.

After Work Begins:

• No refunds of your deposit will be given once the artwork has been started but you will be absolved of your remaining balance owed.

• If for any reason I am unable to complete your commission, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. 

7. Chargebacks & Dispute Policy

• If you are eligible for a refund, please contact me directly. DO NOT request a PayPal chargeback. I will issue the refund manually.

If a PayPal chargeback is initiated outside of these terms, you will:

• Forfeit all rights to the commissioned artwork.

• Be blacklisted from future commissions.

I will provide PayPal with proof of our agreement and completed work.

By commissioning me, you agree to these terms. These terms are subject to updates as needed.
